Earlier this week, Fatima Bio attended the funeral of a member of the SLPP in Kailahun. One would think such a solemn occasion might inspire reflection and humility. But Fatima Bio wasted no time turning grief into spectacle. Shortly after the poor man was buried, she hurried off to nearby Kenema, where she staged yet another political rally under the guise of solidarity.
Flanked by her entourage of armed bodyguards in dark sunglasses, microphone in hand, Fatima Bio took aim at her usual list of perceived enemies inside the SLPP.

But one particular statement stood out, directed squarely at the Speaker of Parliament. In Krio, she told her audience, as translated here,
I know you are angry about what happened to me in Parliament. But don’t be angry. Even though some men are civilized, many educated men are not civilized.
This is Fatima Bio’s modus operandi: insult, provoke, and posture. But imagine for a moment if a man in that same audience had dared to respond with,
And there are First Ladies who are uncivilized.
Would that man have walked away safely, or would he have faced Fatima Bio’s mob justice?
We know the answer. This is the same First Lady who unleashed verbal tirades on members of the SLPP and Parliament, including the Speaker, for nothing more than a chant.
Funeral to Falsehoods
Only days later, back in Freetown, Fatima Bio announced on Facebook that she and her husband were traveling to the UK for “diplomatic engagements.”

Yet, since her post, not a single official press release from the Office of the President has confirmed her claim.
Instead, what do we see? A flyer promoting a fundraising dinner organized by a gang faction she implanted in the SLPP known as the JMB.

So, once again, Fatima Bio has lied with confidence, this time disguising a partisan fundraiser as a diplomatic mission. It is not only inappropriate but reckless for a First Lady to announce the President’s supposed diplomatic trips, undermining the authority of the Foreign Ministry and the President’s own cabinet.
But then again, we have become all too familiar with Fatima Bio’s habit of hijacking institutions, rewriting protocol, and placing herself above the laws of Sierra Leone.
A Pattern of Lies and Disrespect
Fatima Bio’s streak is no longer shocking to Sierra Leoneans; it is predictable. From insulting men as uncivilized to fabricating diplomatic missions, she has perfected the art of spectacle over substance.

While the majority people in Sierra Leone struggle with poverty, the prevalence of drug addiction among the youth, and rising cost of food, Fatima Bio as the First Lady devotes her energy to petty vendettas, public quarrels, and self-promotion.
And all the while, her husband, the moomoo President of Sierra Leone, remains silent, deaf, and dumb in the face of his wife’s rudeness and chaos.
The truth is clear: Fatima Jabbie Bio has turned the Office of the First Lady into a theater of insults, falsehoods, and disrespect. Her uncivilized streak is not just an embarrassment to her, but a liability to her husband’s presidency.
