Mrs. Fatima Jabbie Maada Bio, the illegitimate First Lady of Sierra Leone, employs unsettling tactics to intimidate and silence me. In my book, The UNBECOMING Mrs. Maada Bio of Sierra Leone: A Case of First Lady Syndrome, I cast a critical eye on Mrs. Bio’s involvement in the corruption of her husband’s regime.
Mrs. Bio has now made it clear that she is waging revenge attacks on me for the criticism contained in the book.
The orchestrator of Mrs. Bio’s vengeance is Sylvia Olayinka Blyden (henceforth referenced as SOB), who transitioned from being a vocal critic of Mrs. Bio to becoming her confidante and an attack agent. In a future post, I will discuss how SOB attacked officials of the European Union on behalf of Mrs. Bio. SOB has been assigned the task of cyber-harassing me on social media platforms, mainly on Facebook and WhatsApp.
This approach employed by Mrs. Bio in response to my book is reminiscent of her response to questions at a press conference in the Gambia about combating rape in Sierra Leone—she said she believed in the “shaming” method of dealing with adversaries. To use this strategy to target me, Mrs. Bio’s attack agent, SOB, recruited a boy from my own family named Kansu Mansaray, whose Facebook moniker is “Tuba Pikin.”
At first, this boy was assigned to help SOB dig for dirt on me in the family. The boy led SOB to his mother, my late uncle’s widow, who knows where her husband kept important family documents. With her help, SOB acquired personal documents that my mother had given to my uncle for safekeeping. These personal documents and photos were then published by SOB on Facebook and forwarded to WhatsApp groups with scathing comments in an attempt to “shame” me publicly.
After several weeks of SOB cyber harassing me using documents and photos acquired through Mrs. Bio’s hired snitch and his mother, Mrs. Bio upgraded the boy to join SOB in cyber harassing me. With this upgrade in the assignment, it was no longer a secret that my uncle’s son, Kansu, was the snitch in our family, as his posts on Facebook and many other pieces of evidence proved it.
Mrs. Bio has been financially generous with the boy and his entourage as a reward for not only supplying her with my family’s personal documents but also joining SOB to create her cyber harassment squad against me.
In turn, the boy Kansu has enlisted his younger brother, Abdul Rahman Mansaray, who calls himself “cyber lord,” to join him and SOB in cyber-harassing me. An audio message from Abdul Rahman reveals the lengths to which Mrs. Bio is willing to go in using desperately misguided boys to denigrate, intimidate, and harass me on social media, all in an effort to silence dissent using her “shame” method.
In the audio (shared below as a YouTube audio), the younger brother of Mrs. Bio’s hired snitch, speaking in Krio, brazenly threatens me, warning of dire consequences if my activism against Mrs. Bio and her husband’s cabal continues beyond February 2024. He warns that February is my “grace period.”
Mrs. Bio’s tactic of cyber harassment is just one layer of the broader corruption narrative I outlined in my book, which seems to have triggered Mrs. Bio’s “shaming” tactics response. Mrs. Bio is undoubtedly utilizing a strategy akin to the “mob justice” she had promised to unleash on Sierra Leoneans who did not comply with her husband’s regime.
Her approach involves recruiting disenfranchised boys as her weapons, while her own young adult children are uninvolved, receiving the best education money can buy and enjoying a life of luxury in Europe, funded by Sierra Leone taxpayers.
Mrs. Bio has even promised to send the boys’ mother to Hajj by appropriating the Hajj scholarships provided by the Saudi Arabian government to the government of Sierra Leone for the people. This will obviously be to reward the mother of her cyber harassment squad for providing our family’s personal documents to her. Mrs. Bio has made this and many more promises to the boys, provided they keep their side of the bargain to amplify their cyber harassment against me.
All of these financial rewards and perks are, of course, from Mrs. Bio’s appropriation of the country’s resources at the expense of the masses in Sierra Leone, who continue to be deprived of their most basic needs.
The consequence of Mrs. Bio’s actions reaches beyond merely cyber harassing me; it is causing severe conflicts between these desperately misguided boys and their elders in Tuba, especially when they read the false information this boy and SOB are posting on social media about my relationship with my family and the community.
It is great to see that many members of our family can see through Mrs. Bio’s divisive tactics, which has led most of them to voice out their concerns and try to caution these boys. But the carrots Mrs. Bio is dangling in front of them are too enticing. So, the collateral damage inflicted by Mrs. Bio’s weaponization of these boys underscores a concerning pattern of Mrs. Bio’s misuse of human and material resources in our country for her own selfish gains since her husband’s tenure started.
As this deplorable situation unfolds, Mrs. Bio’s apparent disregard for the long-term consequences on these boys and the community raises serious ethical concerns.
For the sake of my late uncle, whose name these boys carry, I do hope that Mrs. Bio will move beyond mere monetary rewards and provide real opportunities for them to attain education or training that could steer them away from a potentially more destructive and gravely serious criminal path in life.
Failing to do so risks perpetuating a cycle of violence, as she is grooming these boys into tools for future unscrupulous politicians like her in Sierra Leone and potentially transforming them into hired assassins in the future.
