Mrs. Fatima Jabbie Bio Has Again Proven Her Prowess as the Queen of Divide-and-Conquer!

By Dr. Fatima Babih

Yahoo, she’s done it! Bravo indeed!

Somebody’s reading my articles and trying to keep up with a diabolic program! A testament to the sheer tenacity against an insidious agenda!

According to her Strategic Communications Division, on February 7, 2024, Mrs. Bio played hostess to another set of guests from my ancestral home, Tuba Village. As you may recall, in my last article, I argued that the bunch that visited Mrs. Bio last week was not representative of Tuba because all but two of the ten people actually lived in Tuba.

I also pointed out that neither the acting section chief of Tuba nor the manager of the Adolescent and Youth Empowerment Training Center (AYETC), which Mrs. Bio went to inaugurate in Tuba almost two weeks ago, were among the bunch last week.

Lo and behold, Mrs. Bio brought in the big guns this time! She summoned the acting section chief, Foday Baba Sillah, and his biological younger brother, Mohamed Sillah, the center’s manager–the two men are cousins of my mother’s. And, of course, Mrs. Bio’s trusted snitch was there, too.

But the plot thickens with the appearance of Madame Beatrice Kangbai, wife of the Paramount Chief of Tikonkoh, the chiefdom in which Tuba is located. Along with her husband, Mrs. Kangbai is also a member of the Parliament of Sierra Leone.

Now, to the whopping Two Hundred Million Leones, equivalent to Ten Thousand dollars ($10,000) that Mrs. Bio’s third fanfare event with the people of Tuba was all about. This is indeed a generous amount from Mrs. Bio, who once told a reporter in the Gambia that she does not earn a salary as First Lady and should, therefore, not be expected to spend her money on the people of Sierra Leone.

I humbly thank the Almighty for the profound impact my book has had on our humble corner of Sembehun 17. The attention bestowed upon us by the nation’s First Lady has not only illuminated our village amidst the murky depths of Sierra Leonean politics but has also provided a few community members with financial rewards.

Yet, this newfound blessing comes with a price tag, sacrificing my mother’s privacy and sowing division in our family along the way.

Regrettably, the seemingly altruistic gestures from Mrs. Bio towards the people of my ancestral home are at the expense of our family’s privacy. Driven by their quest for financial and other rewards, Mrs. Bio’s operatives have ruthlessly misused my mother’s intimate personal documents.

They have shamelessly exploited them as ammunition in Mrs. Bio’s calculated scheme of a retaliatory strike against me for daring to expose her corruption as First Lady in our country.

Mrs. Bio proudly boasts that her husband holds a PhD in coup d’état. Similarly, she seems to have attained a doctorate in the art of divide and conquer. Her relentless focus and seemingly benevolent gestures towards Tuba, my beloved ancestral village, serve as glaring evidence of this expertise.

Empowered by her marital tie to the President of Sierra Leone, Mrs. Bio wields formidable political influence. Her desires, once voiced, seem to materialize into reality. This includes the allegiance of certain members of my own family, who, enchanted by her political and financial powers, have aligned themselves with her cause. Their loyalty to her borders on worship, as they seem to be determined to join her war against me for daring to challenge their idol.

Mrs. Bio’s current intense spotlight on Tuba has unleashed a storm of division among its members, with motivations ranging from personal gain to political loyalty. The allure of financial rewards has turned some members into active participants in her diabolic game, deepening the fractures within the community and fueling suspicion and resentment among family members.

This relentless pursuit of vengeance toward me mirrors Mrs. Bio’s modus operandi within her husband’s political party, where she thrives on division to further her agenda.

As Mrs. Bio’s trickery unfolds, it becomes increasingly evident that she depends fully on tactics that sow division within communities and destroy familial bonds to achieve her goals. Her success with some of our family members serves as a stark reminder of the price paid for daring to challenge corrupt politicians in Africa.
