Shortly after publishing my Public Notice (see below) about Mrs. Bio’s internet jungle justice attacks against my family, friends, and me, as well as her plans to burn down my family home in Bo City, Mrs. Bio reacted, through her errand girl, Sylvia Olayinka Blyden (Ooman Arata) the leading savage actor in this jungle justice drama.
Upon reading my Public Notice, Ooman Arata posted on social media the address and photos of our home in Bo City along with my Public Notice, to show that she had read it. She also posted ownership documents of our family house and a lengthy rant with more lies, misinformation, and derogatory comments directed at my family, friends, and me.
Furthermore, today, August 22, 2023, Mrs. Bio, again through her errand girl Ooman Arata, showed signs of further escalating her attacks on my family in Bo City. On Mrs. Bio’s orders, Ooman Arata has enlisted Bo City Local Council officials to harass our family home’s occupants and mark the house for their hired thugs. In this latest harassment action, four men showed up at the house this morning, which has never happened before, and it scared the occupants, who are now feeling further intimidated.
The four men claimed they were from Bo City Council and were there to collect taxes for the house or verify if the occupants had paid. The occupants produced receipts showing that all dues were fully paid. The men also claimed they wanted to verify the ownership of the house and asked many other questions, which were meant to dig for problems related to the house that could justify future official actions they may take. The four men refused to tell the occupants their names or show them any official identification.
From a distance, our private security guard managed to take pictures of the car the four men drove in and also took a photo of one of the men from the back (see pictures).
I am making these public reports because law enforcement institutions and civil society organizations in Sierra Leone are currently not functioning for the citizens of that country. Many people in Sierra Leone have told me that reporting these incidents to the police in Sierra Leone will be futile and may bring more problems than solutions.
According to her errand girl Ooman Arata, Mrs. Bio is mounting these attacks on my family, friends, and me to “teach me a lesson.” But rest assured, the lesson I am learning differs from what Mrs. Bio and her errand girl Ooman Arata perceive. The two women should know we do not think alike, and they are providing me with plenty of material for the sequel to my book.
Meanwhile, I will continue to speak up for the voiceless in Sierra Leone as long as Julius Maada Bio remains an autocratic President of my birth country. His wife, Fatima Jabbie Maada Bio, continues to be a corrupt First Lady.
I will continue to speak the truth about the injustices the people of Sierra Leone are enduring, and I will continue to stand up for the truth in the interest of human dignity for the people of Sierra Leone.
I believe that the salvation of our country from its current oppressive state can only happen when we, the people, forget partisan politics, tribalism, regionalism, and all other isms Mr. & Mrs. Bio have propagated in Sierra Leone for the past five years.
Therefore, I encourage truth-loving Sierra Leoneans everywhere to continue to speak the truth and stand up for our people whose right to free speech is nonexistent under the oppressive regime of Julius Maada Bio.
My family, friends, and I are thankful and grateful to the Almighty and all concerned Sierra Leoneans and others who have shown us love and support as we deal with these savage attacks by Mrs. Fatima Jabbie Maada Bio and her errand girl Ooman Arata.
